Terms of Use
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of OnCloudLearning (oncloudlearning.com), including its courses, labs, quizzes, assessments, and the Odyssey program (together, the “Service”). The Service is currently operated by its individual founder, based in Lisbon, Portugal (“we”, “us”, “our”), and not yet through a separately registered company. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Accounts
You sign in through Microsoft Entra External ID or Google - we never collect or store your password ourselves; your identity provider handles that. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared or transferred.
2. Course content and certificates
Course materials, lesson content, diagrams, quizzes, labs, and assessments are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use them for your own learning - not to copy, redistribute, resell, or publish them elsewhere.
A Certificate of Completion issued through the Service reflects that you completed our own curriculum. It is not an official vendor certification (for example, a Microsoft, FinOps Foundation, or similar exam-based credential) and doesn’t guarantee any outcome on an official certification exam, even where a course is designed to help you prepare for one.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Some courses are free; others require a paid subscription (billed monthly or annually). Payment is processed entirely by Stripe - we never see or store your full card details. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn’t refund the current period; you keep access until it ends. Where local law grants you a stronger refund right, that right isn’t limited by this section.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or resell access to the Service;
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute course content outside the Service;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes anyone else’s rights.
5. The Odyssey program
If you apply to the Odyssey program, you’ll submit your name, email, and a motivation statement. Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee acceptance - the program has limited capacity and selection is at our discretion.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without affecting any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Course content is educational in nature and isn’t professional, legal, or financial advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t deprive you of any mandatory protections your local law gives you.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; we’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
